The "Crafty" of the tale was not available for interview at the time of going to press. Who knows, maybe we'll never know the truth of how Crafty came to America. Some say he never really was there. Some say he was a fiction made manifest by an intense desire to make lanyards or tie dye t-shirts. Some even say he was Welsh.
